WELCOME TO
The
Ismail Farida
Foundation
The Ismail Farida Foundation (IFF) was set up in 1998 following the passing of our father, Mohammed Ismail Ali, (commonly known as Sazzad Miah) to continue his legacy and to provide support to charities and organisations whose vision and commitment to helping others we deeply admired.
We invest in organisations that possess vision, capability, courageous leadership and innovative approaches to addressing social problems and are committed to making a substantial impact in people’s lives.

vision, capability and courageous leadership
We provide funding and support to charities and organisations capable of scaling and solving problems in new ways to accelerate positive change in people and communities in need.
We are an engaged funder. We like to align closely with charities and organisations we support and build lasting relationships, meaning we support them for many years and with several rounds of funding.
We follow guiding principles, such as believing in the potential of people and ensuring we focus on settings in which our approach is likely to have the greatest impact.
Our strategic priorities are to meet basic human needs such as food, water, shelter, education and healthcare; to build life skills and relationships through opportunity, education and research.
We are dedicated to cultivating and investing in innovative and impactful solutions that foster inclusive and interconnected communities so that individuals and communities flourish.
We believe that our work should be guided by compassion and encourage inclusion, equity, justice and the uplifting of people and populations that face challenging circumstances everywhere.
